THE CHAMPION WINS AGAIN

The best player of Dynamic Billard Best of the East cycle in 2004 year – Mateusz Śniegocki from Poland won in the tournament played in hungarian Pećs. In 2005 Śniegocki was on back position after games played in Poland and Slovakia. He did not take part in tournament in Pitesti and he has lost many points to the leaders. The success in Fordan Club in Hungary moved him to the lead of the ranking, but he has not real chances to win the general classification. In the final match this billiard player from Poznań conquered czech star Michal Gavenciak. A year ago Gavenciak also played in the final of this tournament. Then he had to accept the superiority of local player Vilmos Foldes. Now Foldes did not play in the tournament because of his competition in World Pool League. On the third places finished Mariusz Roter (Poland) and Dragon Ludovski (Serbia and Montenegro). Generally the favourites did not dissapoint. The point differences between the leader – Tomasz Kapłan – and the second and third – Wojciech Trajdos and Karol Skowerski – are so little, that the last tournament, which will by played in Kiev (Ukraine) in 4-5th October, is expected with big interest. The high noted romanian player Antoanell Judet lost some points – he was eliminated by the junior Champion of Europe – Bartłomiej Czapla from Poland. In Pecs played 91 competitors from 10 countries (Poland, Slovakia, Czech Republic, Romania, Serbia and Montenegro, Croatia, Hungary, Bulgaria, Israel, Ukraine).
